29th September 2016
This photo to remember “the good old times”… Life goes on, without RouXy.
Temperatures are milder these days. And we’ve had some gentle rain.
Frimousse’s Mistress is running again and she’s started cycling. I follow her on Glympse to make sure tea is ready when she comes back.
I go shopping and I do the cooking, because she works!
Plenty of books want to be read, small repairs are needed in the house. RouXy Blog will have a little sleep.
The days the weeks pass by
Neither time past
Nor love comes back again…
It was a year ago.

I don’t know if we’ll have a barbecue on August 14th this year. But if we do it will be very different from that of last year.
RouXy Blog will stop for a certain time, to avoid boring visitors. But I can assure all of you that if something important occurred, such as RouXy reappearing in flesh – if only! – it will be restarted at once.
My very best wishes to all the visitors and their gentle kitties.
Photo: RouXy 10 years ago, on July 9th, 2007. He was 6 years old.
Last year June 26th was a Sunday. The elder of RouXy’s Masters was happy, sitting under his parasol in front of his house. Gentle RouXy was keeping him company. On the following Sunday, July 3rd, RouXy’s Master was dead. And gentle RouXy would be dead before the coming of spring of 2017.

At the beginning of August 2002, we decided to spend a week hiking in the mountains near Bessans – I was still able to walk in the mountains at the time. We rented a small flat there.
Frimousse would be alone while we were out, so we asked RouXy’s Masters if they would agree with our taking RouXy, their cat, for a week’s holiday with us. Frimousse was two years old and RouXy was one. It was about two months after his leg was severed.
Frimousse and RouXy, a week’s holiday with us!
They remained together in the flat waiting for our return at the end of the day. They spent hours on the radiator in front of the window watching outside, waiting for us, probably.
RouXy’s stump was still bleeding, so at the end of the week we had to take the sheets to the laundry and shampoo the carpet… We think Frimousse and RouXy were happy, even if they had to stay inside.
It was a very happy moment for us.
